4-week one-hour introductory training on mindfulness meditation to provide hands-on practice and tools to ensure a sustainable mindfulness meditation, self-care practice. In addition, the training will explore daily mindfulness techniques, including purposeful pause and loving kindness that can be used in everyday life.
As a result of unprecedented challenges of the time, we are facing new and sustained stressors. Research has shown that mindfulness meditation practices not only help reduce stress, they improve performance, build resiliency and increase productivity.
We would like to introduce a free 4-week one-hour introductory training on mindful meditation to provide hands-on practice and tools to ensure a sustainable mindfulness meditation, self-care practice. In addition, the training will explore daily mindfulness techniques including purposeful pause, mindful communication, equanimity and loving kindness that can be used in everyday life.
This session will include guided loving kindness and compassion meditations, experiential exercises, dharma talks and group discussion. Palmridge School faculty and staff will receive suggestions that they can incorporate and skillfully apply the teaching and practices covered in the session into their daily life.
